This procedure has the potential to trigger cold sores in individuals carrying the herpes simplex virus. To minimize the risk and prevent cold sore outbreaks, it is advised to consult your family doctor and obtain a prescription for Zovirax or another antiviral medication. It is recommended to take the medication 5 days prior to the procedure, on the day of the procedure, and for 5 days following it. Please note that a cold sore outbreak can affect the final results of the tattoo.

Yes, it is possible to overline your lips, but only up to 2mm. It's important to consider that the skin on the lips is different from the skin on the face, and going too far outside the natural lip line can result in unnatural or unpredictable outcomes.
-
If your lips appear two-toned, cool, brown, or dark, a neutralization procedure is necessary. If you're uncertain, please send a photo of your lips in natural lighting using the contact methods provided in the contact section of my website.
-
The number of sessions needed for Dark Lip Neutralisation can vary since each individual's lips and healing process are unique. As a general guideline, I recommend a minimum of 2 sessions along with a touch-up appointment. However, for a personalized recommendation, please send me a clear photo of your lips, and we can discuss the best options for you.

It is highly recommended for everyone to schedule a touch-up session. During these sessions, we can make adjustments to the shape and colour of your tattoo, enhance boldness, and fill in any areas that may not have retained pigment as well during the healing process. Additionally, touch-ups contribute to the longevity of your tattoo.
-
At Iconic Cosmetic Studio, we prioritize your comfort. We apply a generous amount of numbing cream and utilize gentle techniques to minimize any discomfort. Following the pre-care instructions sent to you prior to your appointment is crucial for a comfortable experience. Avoid consuming alcohol, caffeine, or certain painkillers like Advil before your appointment, as they can increase bleeding and sensitivity. Our aim is to ensure a comfortable and pleasant procedure for you.

The longevity of Lip Blush results varies depending on factors such as your skin type, overall health, lifestyle, and whether you come for touch-up refreshers. Typically, results can last between 2 to 5 years. It is generally recommended to schedule a touch-up session to refresh the colour between 1 to 2 years, although this timeframe may vary based on individual lifestyles and how well the colour is maintained.
